Larry Mulcrone was a founding member of the IDEOA. It was Larry’s vision and foresight that lead to the birth of the IDEOA. Larry was a highly respected member of the Illinois State Police and former Director of both the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group, (DuMEG) and the Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group. In addition to his 26 years in law enforcement, Larry was a college instructor at Morton College for 20 years, and mentored many current and former IDEOA members.

Larry died June 12th, 2015, and left a legacy of excellence in Drug Enforcement and law enforcement that many strive to attain.  It is with great honor the IDEOA offers this scholarship program in Larry’s memory.
